To ensure that your experience at Coastal Glow is seamless and stress-free, here are a few important policies to keep in mind. These guidelines help me provide the best service possible and keep things running smoothly for everyone.


A Few Ground Rules

  • A valid credit card is required to secure all appointments.
  • Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled time without penalty.
  • Cancellations or reschedules made less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service fee.
  • No-shows (missed appointments without notice) will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.'
  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their appointment or receive a shortened service, with the full service fee still applying.

Booking & Cancellation

  • Clients must complete a consultation and intake form before any treatment. Updates must be provided if your medical history, medications, or skin conditions change.
  • Certain treatments require pre-treatment preparation (avoiding retinoids, exfoliants, tanning, or injectables for a set number of days). Your esthetician will provide these instructions.
  • Proper aftercare is crucial to achieve results and prevent complications. Skin Shift is not responsible for undesired outcomes that result from non-compliance with pre- or post-care instructions.
  • Please disclose if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, using prescription skincare (like Accutane, tretinoin, or antibiotics), or under a physician’s care. Some services may need to be postponed or substituted for safety.

Treatment Preparation & Aftercare

  • Services: All services are non-refundable. Once a service is performed—or the appointment time has passed—no refunds or credits will be issued.
  • Products: To protect product integrity and comply with state health regulations, all skincare and cosmetic products are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • If a product is defective or an order error occurs, please contact Skin Shift within 48 hours of receiving your item so we can make it right.

Refund & Return Policy

  • All payments are due at the time of service or purchase.
  • Accepted forms of payment include credit/debit cards, cash, and Skin Shift gift cards.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Packages, promotions, and memberships are non-transferable and may be subject to expiration dates or service restrictions.

Payment & Pricing

  • Orders are typically processed within 5–7 business days, though delays can occur during high-volume periods.
  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. Skin Shift is not responsible for carrier delays, lost or stolen packages, or delivery errors once items are shipped.
  • Risk and ownership of goods pass to the client once a package leaves our facility.

Shipping for Retail Products

  • Skin Shift reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to staff illness, emergency, or inclement weather. Clients will be promptly notified and offered the earliest available reschedule or account credit.

Cancellation of Services by Skin Shift

  • Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date health and skincare information at every visit.
  • Skin Shift maintains a professional and respectful environment—disruptive, harassing, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.
  • Children under 12 years old must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
  • For safety reasons, no additional guests are permitted in treatment rooms.

 Client Conduct & Safety

  • Skin Shift provides corrective and clinical skincare designed for long-term transformation; however, individual results vary based on skin type, consistency, lifestyle, and home-care adherence.
  • Results are not guaranteed. All treatment photos and testimonials are examples of what is achievable with dedication and compliance, not a promise of identical outcomes.

Results Disclaimer

  • With your written consent, Skin Shift may use treatment photos or videos for educational or marketing purposes.
  • Identifying details will only be shared with explicit permission.
  • Client records, treatment history, and personal information remain confidential in compliance with Indiana State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners privacy standards.

Media & Privacy

  • Skin Shift operates in accordance with the Indiana State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners regulations.
  • All esthetic services are performed by licensed estheticians or aesthetic professionals who maintain active licensure in the state of Indiana.
  • Medical or advanced aesthetic services (such as injections or microneedling with serums beyond cosmetic depth) will only be performed by, or under the supervision of, licensed medical professionals in compliance with Indiana Department of Health standards.
  • Clients may be asked to sign additional consent forms if receiving services that fall under medical supervision requirements.
  • Any concerns regarding licensure or service scope can be verified through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (PLA).

Indiana State Requirements

  • Policies are subject to change at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available at the Skin Shift studio and on our official website.
  • By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or using our services, you agree to abide by these terms and policies.
